Roland Brandli’s tenure at SmartStream spans over seventeen years and was recently promoted to product manager for SmartStream AIR.
Roland’s duties extend beyond innovations team, he is also responsible for the product management of the TLM Aurora solutions suite, which includes the recently launched Digital Payments Control and Advance Payment Control modules.
Roland began his career at SmartStream as Professional Services Consultant in Europe, moving on to become the Head of Consulting, Emerging Markets. Roland was integral in the successful delivery of product implementations across Europe and the Middle East. In his more recent role as Sales Director for EMEA, he introduced SmartStream’s brand and solutions across the entire region.
Prior to joining SmartStream, Roland held a number of leading positions in the back office and operations departments of banks in France and Switzerland.

Andreas Burner

Andreas Burner, Chief Innovation Officer of SmartStream Technologies; has been with SmartStream since 1997 and has over 20 years of experience in building financial service solutions for leading international banks. He is the head of the SmartStream Innovation Lab with a mission to establish a culture of innovation within SmartStream. Andreas works closely with all teams to identify, prototype, and deliver new technologies to the SmartStream product range. His team of researchers are working on blockchain and artificial intelligence technology.
In parallel, Andreas pursued an international academic career and contributed to the field of machine learning in the medical domain with AI technology that assist in the diagnoses of diseases.
Andreas holds a MSc in Computer Science with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Technology, Vienna, and a MA in Mediation and Coaching from ARGE Educational Management, Vienna.
